The Ipswich based library security experts teamed up with four local companies to produce the new domain that will be ready for launch in July 2010.

Thanks to support from Business Link East, Plescon realised it was eligible to take advantage of a new funding scheme called takeITon.

After successfully bidding for funds, Plescon engaged with Henley based Elemental Photography to update all their product photos and then chose two locally based firms to take the project forward.

So, Ipswich based IT experts Rubious and NBS Studio in Great Cornard, are just putting the finishing touches to the website www.plescon.co.uk

“Every business is looking for an edge,” said MD of Plescon, Nick Hunt, “and we are no different.”

“We are an innovative company and we wanted to up the ante when it came to our website and we are delighted with the work achieved by everyone involved.”

“We would also like to thank Business Link East for their support with this project. It’s essential that local businesses work together to maximise their potential – particularly in these uncertain times – and although we work with a lot of national companies, working with the community in which we are based is a crucial part of our outlook.”

Greg Goodson, Creative Director of Rubious, said, “This is one of the largest projects we have worked on.”

“The site has a lot of features including an interactive guide (to help users select the Plescon system most appropriate for their needs)” he added.

NBS Studio helped produce an (Avataresque) 3D animation area to demonstrate the company’s products.
