What loan equipment did you borrow?
We hired the Orbis Wand to complete our stocktake.
How would you rate the overall condition of the loan unit when you received it?
5 stars! The unit was clean and properly prepared for use. It worked fine, but I did require some technical assistance from the PSP team.
What was the problem and was it resolved quickly and efficiently?
We didn’t understand how to download our data, but this was swiftly explained by PSP support.
Was the unit easy to install or set up?
Yes, very easy. Everything was completely clear, apart from our misunderstanding of the data download process.
How satisfied were you with the loan process?
We were very satisfied. Perhaps some tips and guidance might help to ensure clear data reading. We found correct technique made a big difference.
Would you recommend our loan service and PSP to other library teams?
Absolutely. Using the wand has been transformative for us. Stocktaking in our library has always been a major undertaking – taking 3 weeks – and physically exhausting for staff. The wand meant we checked the whole library in 4 days, and everyone was fit at the end!
